The Rush Line

The Rush Line features reviews of shows currently playing in New York, both on Broadway and off.  Like most theatre fans, these shows are all shows I paid to see, but never more than $40.  Living on a budget, and wanting to see as much as possible, I take advantage of inexpensive access to theatre available in New York.  The availability of these seats, and where they are located in the theatre may affect my viewing of the performance.  This provides another perspective for readers who are also seeing shows from the cheap seats, as well.

Working in the theatre industry, and having many friends within it, I often get to see shows for free.  However, because of obvious conflicts of interest, I will not review these shows.  I may though write up a quick summary, or feature a guest blogger.

I am a 22-year old theatre fan and arts administrator, working for Second Stage Theatre.  My opinions, of course, only reflect myself as an individual, and not who I work for.  If you have any thoughts or questions for me, please feel free to contact me at mac.ingram@yahoo.com
